The most popular myth in the Black community is arguably the myth that the Nation of Islam killed Malcolm X.  Numerous barber shop and beauty salon conversations have taken place over the last 55 years since Brother Malcolm’s
assassination. Early on many “conscious” (i.e. woke) and aware members of the Black community would always rebuke the notion of the Nation of Islam having killed Malcolm X. But as time has moved on, the propaganda machine of the United States Government has strengthened this myth with numerous
documentaries, articles and books all aimed at furthering the notion that the Nation of Islam killed Malcolm X. So nowadays, this myth is stronger than ever.  This myth has become the psychological deterrent that keeps many among the suffering masses of Black youth from embracing the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam.
